PARTNERS OF THE FOUNDATION
The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation provides programs, support and private funding as an administrative cooperative for the Foley feeder pattern. Programs the Foundation administers are viable and sustainable functions in the community which provide a holistic opportunity for educational success throughout twelve schools in the Foley and Elberta areas. Bridges to Success and Junior Ambassador Youth Leadership are the core programs offered through this project.
The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation is also working with Foley High School's career technical classes serving agricultural studies and Future Farmers of America to create a community garden on the high school grounds at the South West corner of Cedar St. and 9th Ave. The garden will consist of 149 raised beds and two greenhouses. Satsumas, blueberries, and seasonal vegetables will be grown throughout the year. Students will have the opportunity to apply hands on learning to the project including: planning, propagation, construction, and more. The Chamber Foundation will assist in funding, scheduling, and recruiting volunteers.
